Requirements

  • A Matric / Senior Certificate (minimum)
  • A valid Code B driver’s license
  • South African citizen
  • No criminal record

Note: applicants must not be older than 35 and must be in good health.

Candidates will undergo psychometric tests, assessment of driving skills and assessment of physical fitness during the selection, selection, and application process.

The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) will verify each candidate’s qualifications, driving licenses and residential addresses.

Applicants will undergo the screening process as established by the RTMC. These may include, for example, reference checks, security checks, and criminal records checks.

Applicants must be willing to be relocated and deployed anywhere within the borders of South Africa.

Applicants must undergo a medical examination organized and managed by RTMC. Successful applicants must be prepared to receive training at all irregular hours and times, including weekends and holidays.

LEARNERSHIP: Crash Data Collection (Ref. ICDC / RTMC / 2013)

Requirements: ● Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification ● Information on data management and road traffic environment ● Computer literacy (MS Office package) ● Long and irregular working hours ● Staff members

Responsibilities: Maintain systems, processes, and frameworks for data collection to ensure data is collected. Make sure you follow the data collection policies and procedures and ensure that the section is followed. Identify the categories of data required for iRAP and other road infrastructure projects. Ensure that adequate data sources are maintained and monitored to ensure their continued availability. Collaborate closely and coordinate data collection from secure infrastructure audits, crash investigations, law enforcement, and law enforcement and other relevant parts of the business.
