CV REVAMPING GUIDELINES.

This is what the perfect CV looks like in 2020.

Make it easy for recruiters to reach out to you by providing your contact info near the header.

Log into the app.
1. Click “create resume”

2. Click “basic details”
For those who have postal address different to a physical address, there is line 1 up to line 3 you can use the provided spaces to type in both your addresses.

NB!!! Remember to save at the bottom of every slide, so that you cannot lose everything when you proceed.

3. Click “Personal profile”
As a first time user, it will not have many labels click add at the bottom and click edit label according to your own preference, you then type how you want everything to be displayed e.g (ID number or IDENTITY NUMBER)

4.click “Education
I suggest you use the hint above and use the QUALIFICATIONS 1 label for the highest qualification.

Get the Grade: Many jobs require degrees or certifications, so make sure to list yours. GPA (school grades) are optional but may be worth including if you’ve graduated recently with high marks.

Hint: RECENT QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD APPEAR FIRST.

5. Click “Experience”

This section should include each company you’ve worked for, your title, the dates you worked there, and several bullet points that describe your key accomplishments and responsibilities.

Hint!!! start with recent experience for those with the work experience they should use experience 1 space for the most recent one, then continue in that order if you have other experiences.

6.click “Techincal skills”

My suggestion is to write all the skills you have here are examples of technical skills(Programming, designer, Analysis of big data)

NB!!! Remember to save at the bottom of every slide, so that you cannot lose everything when you proceed.

7. Click “Interest”

Fill in your interest, and they should short not in paragraphs to minimize space.

8. click “Internship”

Those with internship exposure fill in here.

9. Click “Activities”

10. click “personal strengths/hobby

11. click “objective, declaration, date”

12. Click “References”

This is the part where you write all your references be it from previous jobs, current job, college, university, secondary school, etc.

hint: Maximum of 3 references.

13. click “photo & signature”

I suggest you use an ID photo, but any kind of photo is allowed.

When you reach this step know that you are almost through.

15. click  resume templates”

16.select your format according to your own preference, then download there will be a new folder in your internal storage called (resume), visit you will find your downloaded cv.

KEEP IT CONCISE: LIMIT YOUR RESUME TO 1-2 PAGES AT THE MOST.
